Sins forgiven?

The Sins of the World are Forgiven
This beautiful artistic rendition of the cross in our Savior died on is marked with the words "The Sins of the World," signifying that they were ALL covered by His blood.

A picture of the Cross of Jesus with a sign nailed to the top that says "The Sins of the World".  The above caption was attached to the picture.  This would seem to imply that everyone's sins have been covered by the Blood of Jesus.

Jesus said that if He would be lifted up, He would draw all men to Him.  Does this mean that all men would come to Him?  Hardly, many in our world deny that He is the Messiah, Savior or even the Son of God.  What it does mean is that all, have the opportunity to receive Him as Savior.  Those that refuse to accept the Blood as atonement will be lost in their sin and everlating death.

John 3:16 says that God loved us so much that He gave His only Son for our sins.  He then qualifies it with  whosoever believes shall have eternal life.  Those who does not will have everlasting death (hell).

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

The covering of the Blood is available to all, but only those that receive it is covered.  I can invent a cover to keep all people warm in the winter, but only those that get under it will be warmed.  The same applies to the Blood.
